As I was taking minimalist photos, I took these of some costume jewelry, I don’t know if these really are minimalist, but I like them enough to post them.

At first I will take you to the Oregon coast line, unfortunately I do not recall what beach or location other than coastline, at the time I did not write them down, for me it is enough that they are beautiful locations and loved the views. These are from 2013, might not look the same anymore
This is the second last post from this location, but it was such a great spot so obviously I have tons of photos. You can see the Heceta Head Lighthousee in these

I would love to travel see new beautiful places, but I cannot due to the pandemic, so I am on a memory lane trip to some of places I have been. Hope you will join me on the scenic tour of lovely places.

I got it, my hubby got it and my son too. I did this for a challenge but it is appropriate for saying, I will not be all that active in next few days

At night before I closed the blinds it looked like this, so pretty

I am sitting at my desk watching the snow fall and dreaming of sunshine and warm weather.
So, I was going through my archives, again, for photos that I haven’t really edited. So I edited them. I have lot’s of photos that I have not taken that need a closer look. Some need to have the horizon straightened, maybe add little contrast and light. So I have done that. Touch here and there.

I am so restless, I would love to travel see new beautiful places, but I cannot due to the pandemic, so I am on a memory lane trip to some of places I have been. Hope you will join me on the scenic tour of lovely places.

These are as far as 2013. we were visiting my sister in Canada, she lived near the US boarder so we decided to take a trip to see Seattle and Oregon while we were so close.
That’s it, Independence Day here Finland is cold and dark, but candles are traditionally placed in the window, mine are in front of the blue waves

As I have tried to stay away from the computer and monitor, due to the light being so bright for my eye at the moment, eye saving mode makes it so yellow that there is no point playing with my photos.

I have been trying to learn a new technique – oil ink painting. Abstract Art. It is so much fun, but harder than I thought. I tend to put too much color in them, I do like colors 🙂 . Well I have only tried 5 papers, so it is to say that I hardly have any experience. Simplicity it the the key here too, which I have not yet learned.
Here are some of my attempts 🙂 for your enjoyment or not. I am still sharing!

I did find something green in the end, I found a bowl of green lollipops that was an answer to my silent wish.

Green at my art blog 🙂

Green is the theme of the month on my photography blogRitva Sillanmäki Photography so I tried to create art in greens here too. Hope you enjoy it.
This one started quite simple, then I had an urge to try to take it a bit more into dapple like feel.
Pear, so sweet and shapely and like me, Bottom heavy 🙂 It is green, I am not.

Our favorite month, November! This year we’ll get rid of gray by painting the month in green. Lepis from Parallel lines has hosted this challenge for years, I have been part of it for several years too, feel free to join us 🙂

Pear!
Open your world to a green November and enjoy your creativity. How you do it is free as long as it’s green!

My first green is a collage I did last week that I posted in my Instagram stories., but it is so appropriate for this post, so I placed it as the header for this post.

I took my husband to the doctor and during his visit I took some autumn color shots from the city. The flu season has started after being almost nonexistent during Covid, my husband had it and now I am sick first time in three years. I had forgotten how it feels. Not nice.
Well anyway, I am giving you an overload of fall photos, bear with me, soon it will be dark and gloomy.

Oh, the utter lack of willpower to resist the temptation. I felt like a kid in a candy store.

Time flies and older you get, the quicker it goes in my growing experience. Just now it was September and well month has passed. The days are getting shorter, darkness is slowly beginning to unfold around us ( is that correct way to say it? ) Well anyways, these are the colors of early October at my backyard.

In my FB photography group the topic was garlic, but I added some onions as well. Boy, did I take too many shots of garlic, then I played with them in Lightroom. So, sorry I am going to overload you with photos of garlic.
I took them, might as well share them. Enjoy them, or not. Totally your choice, but if you have a favorite let me know. I will number them 🙂 I might take this as a learning opportunity as well 🙂

“You can never have enough garlic. With enough garlic, you can eat The New York Times.” ~ Morley Safer

“Garlic is divine. Few food items can taste so many distinct ways, handled correctly. Misuse of garlic is a crime…Please, treat your garlic with respect…Avoid at all costs that vile spew you see rotting in oil in screwtop jars. Too lazy to peel fresh? You don’t deserve to eat garlic.” ~ Anthony Bourdain

Did you make it this far, just curious 😀 ?
Foggy skies greeted us first thing in the morning, I took my time before I went outside to take some photos. I had my furry little friend following me. These I took with my mobile, and little bit later I took the camera for a walk.

We took an early start to the weekend. We left nice weather behind and headed towards the rain, summer house. We could see the clouds turning dark grey over the highway.

And it rained when we got there and continued to do so all night. Luckily we were nice and warm inside with the fireplace giving us warmth and nice atmosphere

Something I noticed is that I was not able to do all thirty-one posts of Something I noticed. I truly tried. SO this is my last post on this theme. I saw this decoration on a gate

I think I am going to go floral next month? Flowers to celebrate the colors of the season? Or should I call it color of the day…I may repeat the the color many times, who knows. This all is still under consideration.
