Unfortunately the photos have the window reflections on the, but Helsinki is rather beautiful city, mixture of old and new. I took these from the 16th floor at Clarion Hotel in Helsinki-
Street Photography
Walking in Helsinki in Jätkäsaari, around the new Clarion Hotel, you can see beautiful reflections and from the glass structures. The ship yards on one side, cruise ships being built and on the other side you can see ships that take you to Tallinn.
WPC PHOTO CHALLENGE Heritage
WPC PHOTO CHALLENGE theme this week is Heritage. I visited Cyprus few years back, at At the Tombs of the Kings (Pathos) you could feel the history the heritage. The underground tombs, many of which date back to the 4th century BC, are carved out of solid rock, and are thought to have been the burial sites of Paphitic aristocrats and high officials up to the third century AD.

I like so many of us to love travel, near or far. Here are photos from a trip I took to India – Goa. Even thought it is more a tourist place than many others, the reality and the poverty was a shock to me. The colors and smells left and lasting imprint into my memory.
