I will add shores from various places…all just as beautiful.
These first ones are from Finland – the last one to showing what we moving towards slowly – winter.
Cyprus has beautiful shorelines also – and that sea – the color …so so beautiful
Sri Lanka had some lovely beaches and the shorelines
The white sand in Thailand…the sea.

The Heceta Head Lighthouse and Light Keeper’s house are circa 1894. Both are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The lighthouse is a working lighthouse. From a height of 205 feet above the ocean, its “first order” Fresnel lens, casts it’s beams some 21 miles out to sea. It is the brightest light on the Oregon coast. It is said to be the most photographed lighthouse in the United States.
The Heceta Head Keeper’s House is perched on a cliff with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and the beach below. Paths from the Keeper’s House lead both to the beach and to the lighthouse.

Bandon-by-the-sea is a small, charming coastal town with the most lovely beach. Here are some of my photos from there.

I took these pictures of the under five-year old Bald Eagle in B.C Canada. It was sitting on an electricity pole near the sea. Usually It is found near large bodies of open water with an abundant food supply and old-growth trees for nesting, this time also…
The Bald Eagle is an opportunistic feeder which subsists mainly on fish, which it swoops down and snatches from the water with its talons. It builds the largest nest of any North American bird and the largest tree nests ever recorded for any animal species, up to 4 meters (13 ft) deep, 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) wide, and one metric ton (1.1 tons) in weight. Sexual maturity is attained at the age of four to five years.
