Just now I went to my front door and back to my patio in the backyard to capture these stunning pink clouds of blue moment and sunset. The sky was painted with hues that can only be described as pink .-), transforming the ordinary evening into pastel beauty. I shot them on my iPhone, which is always handy for such spontaneous moments, as seeing the sunset . As I stood there the chill of winter slightly bit my hands and feet as I did not put my winter jacket on, or shoes. these colorful skies pass so quickly, views now saved on my device, I am linking it to John’s Cellpic Sunday to share the beauty that can be found in everyday moments.
This week, John invites us to immerse ourselves in the captivating realm of “cool” in all its diverse nuances. For my contribution, I’ve opted to explore the serene and tranquil allure of the color blue. By intentionally keeping the accompanying text succinct, I aim to encourage each viewer to discern and derive their own unique impressions and emotions from the evocative imagery. In my perception, the predominant use of blue exudes a sense of serenity and invites a state of relaxation. I’m curious to know if you share in this interpretation and whether it resonates with your own sentiments.

Last week, Sofia guided us through the wonders of adding a sense of scale to our photos. It once again brought attention to the composition of images and how important it is.
This week, it is John’s turn to focus on cool colors. He provides excellent directions and terrific images to illustrate the challenge. Above was my take on it, hope to see yours.
When you post your response, please remember to link to John’s post and use the Lens-Artists tag. Next week, Anne will host the challenge, I wonder what the mood will be in her post, so look out for her post next week.
Please see this page to learn more about the Lens-Artists Challenge and its history.
Today is supposedly the last day of summer according to article I read in the paper. The rains are coming down on us from tomorrow. Lets see what happens…
But in the mean while here is a photo I want to share. I am starting my fall by taking on painting again and I will also start to study / do sculpture after few years of doing nothing on either of these hobbies of mine. And the photo – I thought I would use this photo as an inspiration on my first painting.
Out time at summer cottage continues in warm and sunny weather. I love way this view change. These are taken in the afternoon , evening and night time the last on I took just now. The color and atmosphere is captivating at all times.
I am trying to get my photos from January posted, so I can get to my current photos. I actually have some new ones, not many, but few. This post has photos from the skyline of Hong Kong, buildings. I most likely will later post some of them again by themselves, but the elimination process is hard.

We stopped to have coffee at Pop up Kahvila Liuskasaari. If you visit the island be sure to pop there. Nice and friendly service and the pancakes and coffee were delicious.
During our visit to French Riviera we saw this amazing sky, so deep colors and beautiful contrast between the colors of the sea and the intensity of the clouds – amazing sight!
These are taken in Ylitornio in Lapland around 4 PM, with my mobile phone, so the quality is not totally up to my expectations, as we took a snow scooter ride through the woods. Untouched nature around us what can I say, I have never been a winter person, but the nature there in all blue tones in just gorgeous.
Cerulean,, is a color term that may be applied to certain colors with the hue ranging roughly between blue and cyan, overlapping with both. It also largely overlaps with azure and sky blue, although cerulean is dimmer.
The first recorded use of cerulean as a color name in English was in 1590. The word is derived from the Latin word caeruleus, “dark blue, blue or blue-green”, which in turn probably derives from caelulum, diminutive of caelum, “heaven, sky”
