May – Macro#7

The miracle of sunshine. The new life grows from smallest of cracks. This birch tree is trying to grow from our yard fence.

What a difference a day makes, beautiful, sunny day and the nature blooms. Loving it! Not sure these can be categorized as macro’s but close-ups still.

A yellow crocus emerged to give color to my still very brown garden, though there is lots of moss to give the nature a green boost. Still waiting for the grass to grow.

I took these photos of cup lichen(Cladonia) for my second post. I find the so cute as the stand out from the moss so straight and tower like

It has been raining and cloudy most of the of the weekend, it had been raining all day and it cleared for the night. I took this opportunity to go for a misty evening walk. It was half past ten when I shot these night photos. I do like these lighter nights, the beautiful blues just before it gets dark and this night the mist that enhanced the view.

April is coming to end and there are some signs of the spring reaching us here in the north. As May takes over I will be posting macro shots of nature. That’s were I will be able to witness it first in details. This weekend I noticed three flowers popping up… it is a beginning.

Sunset

We started the day with sunshine but now it’s cloudy and raining

I edited the frozen flower into BW in the other one I enhanced the white and in the other blacks. Which do you think works better?

Frozen flower number two, a different atmosphere all together.

Sign of spring is certainly when you see the first coltsfoot by the ditch
we are finally leaving winter behind us, last days have been nice and warm. Nights are still cold, but slowly but surely spring is arriving. I for one am overjoyed about it.

Something new is coming alive from this old branch. Finally after along wait spring is here. Melting snow, birds singing and small sign of the nature wakening up.
This morning while driving to work I witnessed a beautiful sunrise in the mist. I so wished that I was taking photos some where other than a moving car through dirty car windows. but what can you do, one needs to work. So my apologies for the quality of the photos, but considering the way I took them I am rather pleased .
