Evening dusk in Hong Kong

Paddy’s Creek in Talbingo in NSW was one of the spots my cousin took us, one we for sure would not have found on our own.

Lazy, or something else, Haven’t been editing my Australia photos as quickly as I would have liked to. Have not even touched the ones I took in Hong Kong. I think, no, I know, I have not taken my camera out but only once since January. I think I am slightly depressed as I am not able to create anything new, I plan, I plan again, but then I don’t get anything done. My head is in a mist.
Have you been at this kind of a slump in your photography. You know, why do this, there are so many better, more creative and talented people out there. Who cares. Point being, I have always done this for me, never had any real ambition to be something. Just to share, the world as I see it. Come spring, hopefully, I will get back on the track.

Sjundby river in winter. What a beautiful and photogenic place

Melbourne, city, night time, skyline and sunset that is what this post is about.

Caseys Beach in Batehaven, beautiful.

Here you have 82 distinctive bathing boxes, a row of uniformly proportioned wooden structures lining the foreshore at Brighton Beach.
Built well over a century ago in response to very Victorian ideas of morality and seaside bathing, the bathing boxes remain almost unchanged. All retain classic Victorian architectural features with timber framing, weatherboards and corrugated iron roofs, though they also bear the hallmarks of individual licencees’ artistic and colourful embellishments.
Just try to resist pulling out your camera and snapping away, I for sure was not able to do that! Text from https://www.visitvictoria.com/
In Sydney, you have to see to Bondi Beach, right, after a busy day of seeing sights in the city we decided to see if for ourselves. We ended up staying there only for few hours. We sat watching the waves and surfers. I don’t know how they do it… the surfers.

the surfers caught my eye …for a reason

Then came the clouds.

and slowly passed the beach

We left the beach with the rainbow behind us.

We saw the Sydney Bridge during day and during night time. Near and far here are the some of the day shots.

We at a restaurant called China Lane Restaurant- style Asian fusion. Absolutely delicious. My cousin knew the place and did the ordering for us, so I do not remember what we ate but it was one of the best meals we had in a long time. Recommendation to the place , absolutely
We were rather tired the first day so we walked a bit, some street shots of Sydney few days before Xmas. Our first day and it was raining.

We were greeted in Sydney with this happy dude called Doug and kids of Leo entertaining the crowd by singing. So here are few street photos from George street. I was sitting on a bench as this little kid slept in his dads arms while mom was doing Xmas shopping. The pretty lady across the street just caught my eye.

It has been a while since I updated anything. I had a lovely trip to Australia, I took so, so, so many photos that I don’t know what to do with them. Editing and trying to post them in some kind of order… I’m stuck, but here is one as I do have to start somewhere. We visited Sydney and had a look Queen Victoria Building . Rather beautiful shopping center. Amazing thing is, I did not buy anything.

love the beaches…
We made it here, days have been so busy and long that the idea of doing a post did not even cross my mind. Here are some shots . I will be posting better quality photos when I m back home. here are few shots from Sydney

Long long day and a sleepless flight, but here we are landed in Hong Kong.

It is that time of the year again that survival is definitely on my mind. The all consuming darkness drains me. I will survive, I will drive into the mist and disappear….
