Autumn Vibes~5

I love the beautiful Birch tree woods you can spot here and there, not too often so that you will be numbed to their beauty

Today’s find

It is a beautiful day, it’s sunny and warm and I am enjoying it laying on a hammock for the first time this year. Blue sky and new green, love it

Sunset

We started the day with sunshine but now it’s cloudy and raining

Two of the most well known Churches in Helsinki. The first one is Helsinki Cathedral is the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran cathedral of the Diocese of Helsinki, located in the neighborhood of Kruununhaka in the centre of Helsinki, Finland. The church was originally built from 1830-1852 as a tribute to the Grand Duke of Finland.

Uspenski Cathedral is an Eastern Orthodox cathedral in Helsinki, Finland, dedicated to the Dormition of the Theotokos (the Virgin Mary). Designed by the Russian architect Aleksey Gornostayev (1808–1862). The cathedral was built after his death in 1862–1868.
The statue in the marketplace in front of it is Keisarinnankivi, Helsinki’s oldest monument built in 1835. In the right bottom corner, the ugly square building is by Alvar Aalto, I have always thought is placed in totally wrong place.

The winter just won’t let go, it’s snowing again
the weather is not promising spring for us, no, winter still has a strong grip on us even though it is middle of March.

Up hill I go and come down.
I started late and I am doing the same with the end- a day late. Welcome December. Today we got snow, it won’t last… but it’s here now

Saturday morning surprised me with sunshine as I walked to get the morning paper from the mail box. Happy, happy 😃
