We have no snow here in Southern Finland at the moment, but these are taken about a year ago. White Xmas is just a wish this year…but these seemed appropriate for the season to create Christmas Spirit.

it is a piece of heaven – when we have blue skies, “warm” winter weather -2C, no wind…
we are going towards spring in a fast pace…light is with us until 6pm. Loving it…even if we still have tons of snow

This is not something I would do but Ice swimming is supposedly good for your health.
I took some pictures of the flowing water that keeps the ice hole open and the edges of the hole look lovely – artistic.

We had a lovely cold and sunny day and lots of us used the opportunity to spend it doing some outdoor activities, skiing and walking on the ice, kids sledding down a slopes.People ice fishing and their pets having a great time enjoying the freedom of open space.
