As I few posts back I said, that I will start this year with sunshine and fond memories of my last visit to Florida until my new visit, where I will create new sunny memories. I love the sun, beaches, ocean. Nature. Trees, birds, butterflies. I am not a winter person even though I live here in the north. Lets sail into the sunset!
We ended the year in blue and white tones, Lets start this year of wit a splash of warm colors.

Mikael Agricola Church (Finnish: Mikael Agricolan kirkko, is a Lutheran church located in the Punavuori district of Helsinki, Finland. It was designed by Lars Sonck and built between 1933 and 1935. The church was inaugurated on 14 April 1935.
The church is made of red bricks. The tower of the church is 97 meters high, the top reaching up to 103 meters above sea level. The 30-meter spike of the tower can be retracted if necessary as it fits inside the tower structure. This was done in the Winter War and the Continuation War so that the tower wouldn’t act as a navigational aid to enemy bombers.

Nearly done with this month! YES! Drove to work and it was dark. Came home it was dark. I did go to a training for work and on the way there visited an art gallery. Not too bad for a slush filled day.

An other day has gone, at work I ended up at IKEA buying stuff for our office. Can you believe it, I think it was my first time having lunch there, I did not eat their best-seller, meatballs either, but da, daa… one more experience in my bag.

What can I say, November can look good if you make the effort to be in the nature at the right time, pay attention to color contrasts and details like rocks on the ground or drift wood. If you just look at it – it’s OK, but the wind factor makes the weather very harsh.

Sunday morning and day was no surprise to me it was grey and rainy again. In the afternoon there was a hint of light just before it set. We drove to Helsinki and on our way back 16:30 it was dark again. The joys of light.

Wow,half way into November, this morning was so dark and the ground was covered in black ice, but fortunately I just had to walk to my car – less than 50 meters so I did not fall down. Later the day this wonderful thing called sun made it’s appearance too. I am counting the days as it is not that common to have that many sunny days at this time it of the year. That is not a fact statement, more like my own observation. I work full time so I have to take photos near our office. All around us, there are construction site’s and high cranes so those are my spotting’s for today
Walking back to the office from lunch I had to photograph this wonder once again (sun).

Yesterdays sunshine turned to rain, me and a huge amount of others went to the mall to escape the rain…these are taken on the way home. Quite notable is that this is also taken little after 3 PM… what a difference a day makes.

I visited British Columbia year and half ago, while driving in the coutryside I walked into this abandoned farm house. I think these are documentary photos. I find it odd in away that such decay transforms into rather interesting photographs, what do you think. Have I been able to capture the decay and odd beauty into these shots?
