Vintage Rose
If you had not already guessed this was a theme in my FB photography group in April. Topic was Vintage rose, here are some of my efforts to capture the theme.
Office
Small joy is this too, my office has a new paint and I placed the furniture differently and my space looks different which’s nice. Veikka has moved in with me, taken over the armchair I got for myself. I am rather pleased with the result. The only thing new is the paint and the new area rug. There he lays sleeping and snoring while I write this post. I notice the photos ain’t that great as I just quickly took them with my mobile. I am just lazy.

One day spent cleaning and tidying the summer house. First floor is now ready for the next visit.

making an effort
As all my art studies are on a break due to Covid, well I have been lazy. I have had an idea, intention to do something, but when the push came to shove, nothing happened. Today I made an effort. I am looking for inspiration as it exists if it finds you working. I am rather proud of that fact that I got this far, not so much of the outcome, but they are not so bad, that I would not show them. Feel free to comment 🙂
So today I took my aquarelle colors out, took time to clear the easel from the other works I store one it. Then I started to play with colors, with the warm palette.

I has you guessing in an earlier post as to what I’ve photographed, well, these are from the same topic, old chair springs that he replaced for new ones. It is hard to find new things to take photos off. Soon we will have spring and I can see the nature come to bloom and that will help a lot. Take care everyone of yourself and your loved ones.

How to survive November~23
Ever so happy to have pets. My cats are saving me at the moment. I took my camera for an outing today, but to get photos out of the camera, let’s nitpick, from the memory card is the problem. Veikka, my beautiful white cat came to save the day. A cat in a Box. We have dressed a cardboard box with an old t- shirt in a our hall, funnily enough, our cats enjoy it.

Saturday morning we drove the Helsinki, there is shoe store with very good service and knowledgeable personnel. In May, I one tendon split and other was torn on my left foot, unfortunately it has not healed. So, as our trip to Australia is approaching, I needed to find sandals / shoes that can accommodate my insoles that have been especially made for me. Story short.I got comfortable shoes, but they are not fashionable, that’s for sure. I am not posting photos of the shoes. Lunch, we had lunch and while waiting for the food to arrive I took few photos.

My oh my, laziness!
I have been busy at work and the result from that is, that I have been lazy at night. Watching television, I know it’s old fashioned, I have to correct myself, watching Netflix, same but different 🙂
Well, today I visited a store called Country White, looking for a parting gift. My boss is moving on, I can’t say I’m happy about it, as she has been a good one. Life goes on… Champagne Coolers was the thing I was looking for and I found one. So mission accomplished. I found something to take photos of.

Yes, no inspiration. Sorry for being so , well boring. I was sitting at my desk at work and I thought that is what I can post, picture of some decorations on my desk. I mean, I am grateful I have a job, that makes it easier to survive and not just November . Well I am revealing more of myself in November than other months…interested or not. I tried the new way to do a post and edit the text, it did not work so smoothly…

This has once been a great and huge shed. Even the ruins in the condition they are in at the moment are impressive, at least to me. After marveling it from the ceiling I walked inside and what did I see, have a look at the large perspective, details will follow.
