Sadunomainen / Fairy- tale
I had to think about this one. Two of the pictures not Macros but – something fairy-tale like is in them – or movie so I had to include them just for the topic
The main photo is as Macro as can be – it is a very close up of a lichen ( jäkälä) only thing I’ve done is enhanced the colors

Heceta Head Lighthouse – Oregon
The Heceta Head Lighthouse and Light Keeper’s house are circa 1894. Both are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The lighthouse is a working lighthouse. From a height of 205 feet above the ocean, its “first order” Fresnel lens, casts it’s beams some 21 miles out to sea. It is the brightest light on the Oregon coast. It is said to be the most photographed lighthouse in the United States.
The Heceta Head Keeper’s House is perched on a cliff with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and the beach below. Paths from the Keeper’s House lead both to the beach and to the lighthouse.

one of the pine cones is behind the others,,, why am I explaining these?
this table setting is behind the window…yes I know this is not a close-up..I could do with a glass of wine…

Weekly photo challenge – inside
I had trouble deciding what kind of pictures I would like to add to this. Here are two different approaches to it. The first picture are taken in valley of the Kings in Cyprus
Spread over a vast area, these impressive underground tombs date back to the 4th century BC. They are carved out of solid rock while some are decorated with Doric pillars. High officials rather than Kings were buried here, but the magnificence of the tombs gave the locality its name.
The other set is home of the elephant farm workers in Thailand…totally different take.
